So the wife… (yes I only have one wife… phew thank goodness, I couldn’t manage more!!!)

…says to me lets get a dvd tonight, you choose for a change…(part of her empowerment plan…. I play along to keep her happy…)

Normally I let her choose because it keeps the peace and she is much better at it than me anyway.  If I go down to the video store then I get tempted by action movies, which don’t go down too well… can’t think why??? The other thing is that my memory is terrible when it comes to movies and actors, I don’t pay enough attention, so I can never remember what we have seen.

We normally end up with a drama or a comedy.  She is happy and if there is enough drama, action and mystery or the comedy is really good… then I stay awake.

What she really likes is a romantic comedy.  Now I have seldom seen a romantic comedy that keeps me awake!  But I want to stay in her good books, so I end up choosing, “What happens in Vegas”.  Thought the romance and comedy would keep her happy, whilst I could at least get a glimpse of Sin City and some casino games.  Win-win as they say!!!

It has Cameron Diaz in it, she can keep me awake.  At least there should be some gambling scenes.

Well my wife loved it and I fell asleep… one little scene of them playing a slot machine… then them partying in Vegas… what a load of drivel!

Comeon guys if you are going to put Vegas in a title of a movie at least have some good gambling scenes!!! Blackjack, roulette whatever.

Ok there was a small scene with them playing craps, but I mean it was nothing!  Diaz whines, “What do I need honey?”, the good looking dude replies, “double four babey”.  And guess what she throws… a double four…

Comeon….. groan!!

Next time I go down to the video store I will not be suckered, that’s for sure!
