Yes Reg you are right I did forget Rounders, how could I do that?  There are so many great gambling movies though and I didn’t really want to just list all the top gambling movies out there.  I also like the older classics, heh we all need some escapism from our ordinary lives and what better way than to go back to the classics.

And, Big Ray B please go look on Google for recipes, I told you this is not a cooking site – Come on!

Ok that’s my feedback done for the week…Any more of you got any words of wisdom out there?

I am not sure if you noticed but there were two recent cases that have been found in favor of the gambling industry – just maybe we are starting to see a decent defense against State laws and the UIGEA…these are two big breakthroughs for the gambling industry, be it online gambling or gambling in a casino.

Last week, a Pennslyvania judge said that poker was a game of skill and was therefore not gambling.  Very interesting…has a benchmark been set for other cases to use?

Then in Kentucky the State was stopped from seizing internet domain names.  Even though the judges voted 2-1 to set aside the seizure order, they must have put together some convincing arguments to prevent this.

Now hopefully lawyers will have something to use and we can up the offensive against anti-gambling laws.
