I see they have just released the Forbes rich list… oh and some of them had to drop off the list because of the hard times… shame… actually 332 people had to drop off the list and now there are only 793 names on the billionaires list.

Bill has climbed above Warren thanks to the stock market collapse.  There have been some interesting shuffles in the list and changes in countries where they come from.  A few Indian and Russian billionaires have dropped down the order, whilst the US made a comeback.  Many have seen their total wealth diminish due to the financial crisis.

There are no shortages of interesting characters on the list, perhaps the most controversial is the Mexican Drug Lord… Guzman, who is number 701 on the list…

I would love to know what the list would look like in twenty years time and who will be on it.  I wonder if there are any gamblers on the Forbes rich list.

Now if only I could learn how to win at blackjack… then maybe I would be in with a chance to get on the list…
