Demystifying Roulette Myths

There are several myths that have developed around the popular game of roulette. To win and be successful at roulette, one needs to be aware and stay clear of these myths. As well as they should follow some roulette rules.

Identical Wheels

Most people are under the misconception that all roulette wheels are identical. This is absolutely incorrect. The identical wheel theory gets debunked in the first instant of some roulette wheels having single zero while other double zeros. Moreover, roulette wheels also come in different shapes, colours and sizes.

Random Selections

In another ridiculous accusation, some people say that each spin of the roulette wheel is not random. This is simply preposterous as not only every spin is random but no spin influences the outcome of future spins. No number can come up any number of times and in no specific order of succession. Often players tend to believe this in the case of red/black. If black has come up four times in a row, they believe that the next spin must result in it being red. Similarly in the case of odds and evens, but if you are smart you will know that this is simply a myth.

Roulette Systems

With several advertisements and books on allegedly successful roulette systems, there is little wonder that people believe they can use these to defeat the roulette wheel and walk away with thousands of dollars. It may be a coincidence or luck that may have won them their game, but it was definitely not a system. A winning roulette player and a good roulette player are not necessarily the same thing.

Money Management

People often try and use roulette money management systems to increase their chances of roulette success. They feel that if they can reduce the house advantage, they will win. The problem surrounding money management systems are the roulette myths which surround them. Money Management systems do not guarantee your success, but they can ensure that your chances of losing are minimized.
